Delhi records 302 new Covid cases, 4 deaths

Delhi on Friday reported 302 fresh Covid infections, as well as four deaths in the last 24 hours, the Health Department bulletin said. The fresh infections and deaths took the tally to 18,61,189, and the death toll to 26,134, said the Health bulletin on Friday evening. Meanwhile, the Covid infection rate has reduced to 0.63 per cent, and the number of active cases to 1,466.
'Indigenous train protection system KAVACH to cover 2,000 km of rail track'

The minister observed Kavach -- the Indian Railways Indigenous Automatic Train Protection System in action between Gullaguda- Chitgidda Railway stations of Secunderabad Division in South Central Railway. "The system will be further extended to an additional 4,000 to 5,000 km from next financial year. The indigenously developed KAVACH system costs Rs 40-50 lakh for each kilometre" the minister elaborated.
Rashtrapati Bhavan tour, Change of Guard Ceremony to resume for public next week

The tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan and Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex as well as the Change of Guard Ceremony, which were discontinued since January 1 due to rising Covid cases, will resume for public from next week, it was announced on Friday. Visitors will be allowed in the Museum in four pre-booked time slots with a maximum limit of 50 visitors per slot, a communique from the Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
