According to sources, these policies will consolidate BJP's socio-political positioning, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeks a third consecutive term. BJP sources said that the party is expected to put the non-Yadav OBC and Dalit ranks on a high priority index in a bid to consolidate the two communities.

In its second term, the Yogi Adityanath government will be taking forward its vision to establish Uttar Pradesh as the 'religious tourism hub' of the country. The Yogi Adityanath government has several reforms in store which will provide immense employment opportunities to the people in the state. According to a spokesperson for the state government, concerned authorities have been working for the past five years for developing religious sites and increasing facilities for the devotees.

According to party sources, after Yogi Adityanath is formally elected as leader of the legislature party, he will formally stake his claim to form government at Raj Bhawan and Governor Anandiben Patel will then invite him to form government.

An office-bearer of Uttar Pradesh BJP said that the swearing-in ceremony of Adityanath as the next Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is likely to be held on March 25 evening. "Earlier, there was a plan to hold the swearing-in ceremony on March 21 but the date has been changed. Preparation for the grand swearing-in ceremony for the second term of Yogi Adityanath is in full swing at Ekana stadium in the state capital on March 25," he said.

Official sources said that the swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held in the Ekana stadium with the list of invitees running into several thousands. The party is preparing a list of invitees for the event and the guests will include beneficiaries of various government schemes - known as 'labharti'- who have played a crucial role in voting the BJP back to power.

After the meeting which lasted over an hour, the Prime Minister tweeted, "Met Yogi Adityanath ji today. I congratulated him on the historic win in the UP elections. In the last 5 years, he has worked tirelessly to fulfil the aspirations of the people. I am sure that in the years to come, he will take the state to greater heights of development."

The Etawah assembly seat has been won by the BJP's Sarita while Jaiveer Singh of the BJP has won the Mainpuri assembly seat. In Etah, it is again the BJP which has won the seat while Firozabad - which is the bastion of Prof Ram Gopal Yadav - has been won by the BJP's Manish Asija. Kannauj, that was said to be the strongest Samajwadi area, has also been wrested by first timer and former IPS officer Aseem Arun.

“We have shown that the BJP's seats can be reduced. The fall for the BJP will continue. Half of the misunderstanding has gone, the other half will go too,” the SP chief wrote on twitter. He further said that his party increased its vote-share by 1.5 times and the assembly seats by 2.5 times and thanked the people of the state who voted for him. “Our struggle for public welfare will continue,” he further wrote.

The results of the high-voltage 2022 UP Assembly elections are out and the people of the state have given a thumping majority to the Yogi-Adityanath led BJP government. This massive mandate is seen as a thumbs-up for the governance rendered by CM Yogi Adityanath over the course of the past five years.
