Over the last year, Musk has been talking about Tesla unveiling an updated version of the Cybertruck ahead of the start of production, which is still officially planned for later this year. Now, the CEO has confirmed that the Tesla Cybertruck is going to have 4-wheel steering, Electrek reported. "We are adding rear-wheel steering, so it can do tight turns and maneuver with high agility," Musk said.

The event Tesla held at its Fremont factory was more about the Model S Plaid, the new top performance Model S, but it was also the official launch of the new Model S, which also includes the cheaper Model S Long Range. It was only briefly mentioned by CEO Elon Musk during the presentation when discussing the version's longer range.

The blue-coloured entry-level model in Tesla's lineup is said to be caught on test in Pune. The Model 3 is designed for electric-powered performance, with dual motor AWD, quick acceleration, long-range and fast charging. According to various reports, the Tesla Model 3 would be launching in India around December 2021 and it is expected to be priced around Rs 60 lakh.

According to The Verge, the refreshed Model S includes a new Tesla infotainment system, which is powered by AMD's Ryzen processor and a discrete AMD RDNA 2 GPU. "There's never been a car that has state of the art computing technology, state of the art infotainment where this is literally at the level of a PlayStation 5," Musk was quoted as saying during the event.

The Model S Plaid starts at $130,000 after a recent $10,000 price increase this week. The company is claiming 0-60 mph in 1.99 seconds, quarter-mile in 9.23 seconds, and a 200 mph top speed, The Verge reported on Friday. "To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that there has been a production electric motor with a carbon over-wrapped rotor," the CEO was quoted as saying during the presentation.

Last week, Musk announced that Tesla will hold a delivery event for the first Model S Plaid deliveries on June 3 at the automaker's Fremont factory. Now, the CEO confirmed that the event has to be delayed by a week because the new Model S is not ready yet. "Model S Plaid delivery pushed to June 10. Needs one more week of tweak,"

At the end of 2020, Tesla had over 20,000 charging stalls at over 2,100 Supercharging stations around the world. Now just a few months later, Tesla announced that the automaker has now 25,000 Superchargers around the world, Electrek reported. Those 25,000 Supercharger stalls are at just over 2,700 Supercharger stations. Tesla launched a new Twitter account called 'Tesla Charging' that shares every new charging station coming online.

Tesla vehicles are far from reaching a level of autonomy often described by Musk on social media, according to an internal memo obtained by transparency portal Plainsite. "Elon's tweet does not match engineering reality per CJ. Tesla is at Level 2 currently," Tesla's director of Autopilot software CJ Moore told the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)

In his address at The Raisina Dialogue 2021, he said that it is a golden opportunity for the company to start manufacturing in India. "I had a video conference with Tesla management. I suggested to them that it is a golden opportunity for them to start manufacturing here in India," he said.

Musk had tweeted: "Nothing stopping Tesla team at our car plant from voting union. Could do so tmrw if they wanted. But why pay union dues & give up stock options for nothing? Our safety record is 2X better than when the plant was UAW & everybody already gets healthcare". The board on Thursday gave the order as part of a years-long legal battle between Tesla and the United Auto Workers (UAW) union.
