In the aftermath of the devastating incident, the Chinese government has urged the Pakistani authorities to bolster security measures to ensure the safety of its citizens.

The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has urged for a thorough investigation into the assault. In an official statement, the Embassy stated, "The Chinese Embassy and consulates in Pakistan have swiftly initiated emergency procedures, urging Pakistani authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the attack, bring the perpetrators to justice, and implement tangible measures to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens."

The incident took place in the Bisham area of Shangla district as a bus traveling from Islamabad to Kohistan was struck by a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction, causing significant casualties and injuries, according to local police sources.

Putin asserted during a meeting on counterterrorism measures that the perpetrators were radical Islamists, aligned with an ideology historically challenged within the Islamic world itself. While the individuals responsible have been identified, focus has now shifted to uncovering the masterminds behind the attack, as reported by Xinhua news agency.

The IDF stated that among the seized weapons were Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, mortars, grenades, and various assault rifles, concealed amidst medical equipment.
