100 terrorists killed in Kashmir so far in 2022

"Hundred terrorists (71 local and 29 foreign) killed in different encounters in five months and 12 days this year in 2022. Fifty terrorists (49 local and 1 foreign) were killed last year in 2021 in the same duration. Maximum losses to LeT (63) and JeM (24) terror outfits," the J&K Police quoting Inspector General Police Kashmir zone Vijay Kumar tweeted.
99 militants killed in Kashmir this year, says J&K police

Vijay Kumar, IGP (Kashmir) told reporters that 3 militants belonging to LeT outfit were killed on Sunday in Drabgam area of Pulwama district. "One among the slain militants was involved in the killing of a police constable, Riyaz Naikoo on May 13 and also in the attack on labourers at brick kiln in Budgam in which one non-local labourer was killed and two others sustained injuries on June 2", the IGP said adding that so far this year, 99 militants have been killed in different encounters across the Valley.
3 LeT terrorists killed in Kashmir encounter

In a tweet quoting Inspector General Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar, the J&K Police said: "All three killed terrorists are locals, linked with terror outfit LeT. One of them has been identified as Junaid Sheergojri, involved in killing of our colleague Martyr Reyaz Ahmad on 13/5/22." This encounter took place in Drabgam area. There have been a series of anti-terror operations in Kashmir over the last few months in which many militants and their commanders have been eliminated.

Terrorists kill non-local rural bank manager in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam

Police sources said the terrorists shot and critically injured the manager, identified as Vijay Kumar of Rajasthan. Kumar was working as the manager of a regional rural bank (Ellaquai Dehati Bank) in Areah village branch of Kulgam district. He was attacked in the morning as he was entering the bank branch, said police sources. "He was shifted to a hospital where doctors said he was dead on arrival.
Hindu teacher shot dead by terrorists in Kashmir

The teacher was identified as Rajni, wife of Raj Kumar of Samba district in Jammu. According to the details, the terrorists fired at the school teacher, injuring her critically. She was moved to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The J&K Police tweeted: "Injured lady teacher, a Hindu and resident of Samba (Jammu division) succumbed to her injuries.
2 terrorists killed in encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Awantipora

"Two terrorists killed. Incriminating materials, including two AK-47 rifles recovered. Search going on," police said. The encounter that started on Monday based on an intelligence input ended with the killing of two terrorists on Tuesday. Both are local terrorists identified as Shahid Rather of Tral and Umar Yousuf of Shopian.
7 soldiers killed, 19 injured in Ladakh road accident

Seven soldiers were killed and 19 others injured in a road accident in Ladakh on Friday, defence sources said. According to the sources, 26 soldiers were injured in the road accident in Turtuk area of Ladakh. "Seven soldiers died on the spot while 19 others were injured. The injured soldiers have been airlifted to military hospital in Chandigarh," a defence source said.
J&K delimitation commission order comes into effect
