Infiltration bid foiled, terrorist killed in J&K's Keran sector

The infiltration bid was thwarted on Sunday. "In a joint operation that commenced yesterday, Army and Kupwara Police have successfully foiled an infiltration attempt in Jumagund area of Keran sector in which one terrorist has been killed," police said. Police said the search operation continues in the area.
Pakistan violates ceasefire in Jammu's Arnia sector

"Tonight at about 20:00 hours, Pak Rangers started unprovoked firing on BSF posts in Arnia area, which has been befittingly retaliated by the BSF troops.The firing is still on," the BSF said. This is the second ceasefire violation at the International Border in less than 10 days. On October 17, Pak Rangers had resorted to unprovoked firing towards BSF troops, in which two BSF personnel received injuries.
Two terrorists killed as army foils infiltration on LoC in Uri

"The remaining terrorists withdrew to enemy side of LoC along with the bodies of dead terrorists. "The security forces recovered two AK series rifles, six pistols, and four Chinese grenades. However, due to adverse weather conditions, the search operation has been temporarily suspended and will resume once the weather improves," an official added.

The army said that two bodies of the intruders were recovered while the third infiltrator's body could not be recovered because of firing from a Pakistan Army post near the LoC. "Two terrorists have been eliminated and bodies recovered while the third terrorist was killed but retrieval of the body was being interfered by firing by, Pakistani post in the vicinity, on LoC. Operation in progress," the army said.
