While having an interaction in Bhopal, Akshay delivered his views on Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir files. "Vivek ji ne Kashmir Files bana kar humara desh k ek bohot bade dardanak sach ko samne rakha hain. Ye film ek aisi bhet bann kar ayi, ye aur baat hain ki meri picture ko bhi duba diya hain." He said.

How a budding director, Myra (Kriti Sanon) from Mumbai, along with her actor-friend Vishu (Arshad Warsi), decides to make a biopic on him and land in Bhagwa, and what ensues, forms the crux of this film that stretches for two and half hours. The film is replete with caricatures and appears more like a dark comedy, as the humour is often garbed in gore, only with some supposedly witty one-liners coming to the rescue.

As part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', the National Museum of Indian Cinema displayed the vintage and the classic car club of India exhibition for the cast of the action-comedy feature film 'Bachchhan Paandey'. The reopening of the Museum happens in collaboration with The Vintage and Classic Car Club of India (VCCCI) which is conducting a vintage car exhibition at the museum premises.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will join the grand finale of the upcoming action reality show 'India's Ultimate Warrior' hosted by Vidyut Jammwal. Akshay said, "I was nine (years old) when I started practicing Martial Arts and I owe everything I am today to this art form. When the show makers reached out to me to be a part of 'India's Ultimate Warrior' revolving around combat disciplines as a guest, I was instantly intrigued by the same.

While praising Raveena, Kangana said, "Aapke Tip Tip Barsa Paani ka koi kitna bhi remix kar le, aapke saamne paani kum chai hai." Now, this maybe a jibe at the remix that was created for Katrina Kaif in Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. Raveena was also lauded Kangana saying, "Baaton ke zariye thappad marne ka joh style hai woh sirf Kangana hi kar sakti hai."

The petition sought a ban on the release of the movie, alleging it was presenting a 'wrong and vulgar' picture of Prithviraj, a Hindu emperor, and hence it hurt sentiments. The court order came on Thursday on PIL seeking a ban on the release of the film. The court has fixed the case for hearing in the week commencing February 21. A bench comprising Justice A.R. Masoodi and Justice N.K. Jauhri passed the order on the PIL moved by Karni Sena's vice president Sangeeta Singh.
