In an Instagram reel shared by Katrina, we see both Akshay and Rohit having a blissful moment as Katrina mocks them by telling the fans how 'hard' the two are working and how much they are kicked up for the promotions. Katrina captioned the image, "Just look at the excitement of the boys for our first day promotions together ???? @itsrohitshetty @akshaykumar #sooryavanshiintheatres #sundayvibes #sooryavanshi NOV 5 th ??"

The movie will see Akshay as Anti-Terrorism Squad chief DCP 'Veer Sooryavanshi'. It also features Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Jaaved Jaaferi. Ajay and Ranveer will have cameo appearances.The action film is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. It is based on a script by Yunus Sajawal, Farhad Samji, Sanchit Bendre and Vidhi Ghodgadnkar and an original story by Shetty.

"Iconic mainstream Hindi film heroes like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have all connected with and captivated the nation through their television shows. I've idolised them since childhood and closely followed their journey," says Ranveer.

The actress says the decision to do the film was instant because she got a chance to share the screen with the actor. "I'm fortunate to have got the opportunity to work with one of the icons of Hindi cinema today, Akshay Kumar sir. I'm deeply thankful for his trust and faith. I have a small but impactful role in 'Bell Bottom' which I'm hoping will be loved by audiences and critics alike," Vaani said.

The film's release was pushed from April 2021 to July 27 due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. Akshay shared the news on Twitter, along with a motion poster of the film featuring the entire cast of the film. "Bell Bottom" is an espionage thriller set in the 1980s. The film was largely shot in Glasgow, Scotland, amid lockdown.

Confirming his upcoming collaboration with Akshay, Priyadarshan told IANS: "Yes that is happening next year. It was supposed to happen this year but got pushed. We start shooting next year." Before his film with Akshay, Priyan, as he is widely known to friends and colleagues, is busy readying his new film "Hungama 2" for release. Priyadarshan's name is synonymous with entertaining comedy films.

Ahan already has "Tadap" coming up, with Nadiadwala credited as one of the producers of the film. The Milan Luthria directorial casts Ahan opposite Tara Sutaria and is a remake of the 2018 Telugu hit "Rx 100". And now, the producer has signed him for a new project with Akshay Kumar. The project is currently at a planning stage, and details will be announced soon.
