Samsung slips to 2nd spot in European smartphone market in Q2
Samsung made up a market share of 24 percent in the April-June period after shipping 12 million smartphones to Europe, down 7 percent from a year earlier, according to a report from market researcher Strategy Analytics. The South Korean tech giant was the only player among the top five smartphone suppliers in Europe to see an on-year decline in shipments.

The company on its support page on the platform wrote that it is now adding the option to log in from Google and Apple ID. "Sign on with ease and start scrolling your timeline," the micro-blogging platform tweeted on Monday. "Now, when you log in or sign up to join the conversation on Twitter, you have the option to use Your Google Account on the app and on web (Or) your Apple ID on iOS and soon on web," it added.

Fleets are disappearing tweets that sit in a row at the top of users' Twitter handles on smartphones. These ephemeral tweets expire after 24 hours. "In the time since we introduced Fleets to everyone, we haven't seen an increase in the number of new people joining the conversation with Fleets like we hoped," Ilya Brown, Twitter's vice president of product, said in a statement in July.
