The smartphone comes in three storage variants -- 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB -- for Rs 25,999, Rs 27,999 and Rs 29,999, respectively, in Gunmetal Silver and Predator Black colours. According to Counterpoint Research, POCO helped Xiaomi gain 28 per cent shipment share in the April-June quarter in India. The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ resolution.

The April-June period was another strong quarter for both Chromebooks and tablets with both device categories recording growth despite a challenging year-over-year comparison. According to preliminary data from the IDC's eQuarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker', Chromebook shipments grew 68.6 per cent (year-over-year) with volumes reaching 12.3 million units.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed earlier this week that the Ray-Ban smart glasses would be launched soon. Xiaomi unveils new electric scooter, gaming monitor
Some of these products aren't new, as a few gadgets have been made available in China for a while now. But most of them are new to Europe, reports GSMArena. The new Mi Electric Scooter 3 has a 275 Wh battery for up to 30 km range (18.6 miles). It can operate at 300W continuously with peak power-hitting of 600W. The top speed is limited to 25 kmph to comply with local regulations and it can tackle 16 per cent inclines, the report said.
Video gaming to heat up with new launches in S Korea
Video game giant NCSOFT Corp is set to release "Blade & Soul 2," the sequel to its popular massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) for PCs and mobile devices on August 26. The highly-anticipated cross-platform game has drawn 7.46 million pre-registrations, a record in South Korea, trumping NCSOFT's other hit MMORPG "Lineage 2M," which drew 7.38 million users, according to the company.
Telegram expands group video call feature to 1K people
The company said that its group video call allows up to 30 users to broadcast video from both their camera and screen -- and now 1,000 people can watch anything from online lectures to live rap battles. "Group video calls now have up to 1,000 viewers, video messages record in higher quality and can be expanded, regular videos may be watched at 0.5 or 2x speed," the company said in a blogpost.
Apple leads tablet app processors market with 59% revenue share
For the fifth consecutive quarter, the tablet applications processor (AP) market posted shipment and revenue growth, according to data provided by market research firm Strategy Analytics. The tablet AP market grew 33 percent to $761 million in Q1. Apple, Intel, Qualcomm, MediaTek and Samsung LSI captured the top-five tablet applications processor (AP) revenue share slots.
Elon Musk calls Apple App Store fees 'de facto global tax'
Musk was referring to the trial earlier in 2021 between Epic Games, the developer of popular game "Fortnite," and Apple. "Apple app store fees are a de facto global tax on the Internet. Epic is right," Musk wrote on Twitter. Epic Games brought a high-profile lawsuit against Apple over the way it runs the App Store and doesn't allow things like app stores within apps or alternate ways to take payment for digital goods.
