According to The Wall Street Journal, the current plan is to roll out such a feature next year. Google's Personal Safety app on Pixel phones already includes a feature to call for help when it detects car crashes, just like connected car services in modern vehicles do, including GM's OnStar, Subaru's Starlink and Fiat Chrysler's Uconnect.

macOS Monterey users reportedly facing connectivity problems with USB hubs

macOS Monterey is the next version of Apple's desktop and laptop operating system that replaces the previous macOS Big Sur and it was introduced alongside the latest Apple ecosystem updates back in June at WWDC 2021. Some users noted that macOS Monterey is specifically causing issues with USB 3.0 devices. For some people, their USB hub is no longer working at all, while for others their hub's HDMI and USB-C ports continue to function.

According to research group CIRP, a vast majority of Apple's iPhone customers stick with the platform, with the company estimated to have curated the highest brand loyalty out of any smartphone manufacturer operating in the US. The report said that the calculation was based on the per cent of new iPhone customers who upgraded from a previous iPhone model.
