TikTok emerges as most downloaded non-gaming app worldwide for Oct

The countries with the largest number of installs were from Douyin in China at 17 per cent, followed by the US at 11 per cent, reports Sensor Tower. Instagram was the second most installed non-gaming app worldwide last month with more than 56 million installs, which represented a 31 per cent increase from October 2020.
US-based Meta Company to sue Facebook for infringing upon its name

In a statement, Meta Company Founder Nate Skulic alleged that when Facebook failed to buy them, it aimed to "bury" the company by force of media. On October 28, "Facebook decided to commit trademark infringement and call themselves Meta," Skulic claimed in a public letter.

Previously, users had to make sure that their main smartphone was still connected to the internet before they could carry a conversation on your linked web browser.
Photo app sues Meta for copying its main feature for Instagram

According to Phhhoto, Facebook copied this main feature and released it on its Instagram platform as "Boomerang". Twitter makes it easier to search tweets from specific accounts

According to The Verge, a social media consultant noted that the button had started appearing for a small number of users last month, but now XDA Developers said that the feature has rolled out widely in the service's iOS app. Being able to limit a search to a single user's tweets is not a new Twitter feature, the report said. You can achieve the same result by using the format "from:(Twitter handle) (search term)" in the regular Twitter search box.
Apple likely working on iPad Mini featuring 120Hz ProMotion display
