Australia will play a five-match T20I series against Bangladesh in the tune-up to the ICC T20 World Cup later this year in the UAE and Oman. The fringe players in the Australian team will have an opportunity to make a case for themselves in the T20 World Cup squad when they face Bangladesh in the series. Wade will be hoping that the team can bounce back after the 4-1 loss to the West Indies in the T20I series last month.

It is now over a month since Messi's contract with Barca expired and the striker, who is currently on holiday in Ibiza, could in theory move elsewhere as the club and his agents try to resolve a new contract with less than two weeks before the start of the new season. However, at the presentation of defender Emerson Royal on Monday, Laporta once again gave an optimistic message to the press.

The Indians fought well, went 2-1 up in the first quarter but slack defending and conceding too many penalty corners did them in as Belgium fought back to level scores and then scored thrice in the fourth quarter to seal a place in the final. Belgium Alexander Hendrickx (19th, 49th and 53rd min) scored a hat-trick while Loick Fanny Luypaert (2nd min) and John John Dohmen (60th min) scored for Belgium.

India in England: Root, Rahane back Stokes's decision to pull out
"Anyone who knows Ben knows that he puts England in front of himself first. He has an opportunity to put himself first, to take time to look after himself so that he is able to play [later]. Hopefully, that will be sooner than later. I think cricket needs to be a secondary thought down the line and he should think of himself first," said England Test captain Root in a virtual media interaction on Monday.

During the first and second Test matches in New Zealand last year, India's last four wickets had added 33, 43, 45 and 35.

The 26-year-old was also one of the two athletes to have thrown beyond 70 metres in 2021 with a throw of 70.01m at the USA Trials in Eugene, Oregon in June.
Olympics hockey: India have nothing to lose against Belgium
So, will it be another super day for Indian hockey when the Indian men's team takes on Belgium in the semifinals of the Tokyo Olympic Games? While India would hope to win Tuesday's encounter and reach the final for the first time since 1980, when they won their eighth gold medal, the Belgian Red Lions on the other hand are looking to make it to their second successive final after finishing runners-up to Argentina five years ago in Rio de Janeiro.
