'Mathematically proved', javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra is the best

From the moment Chopra landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on August 9, people started clicking pictures of the ace thrower's javelin at the arrival lounge, neatly packed in a black bag with "Neeraj Chopra" written prominently on it. The best 'calculation' though was done by someone who tweeted a sketch of a pencil shaped like a javelin and drew a gold medal, captioning it "History".
Formula One: Alpine F1 team engine head Remi Taffin leaves

The Frenchman has been part of Renault's F1 programme since 1999, and early in his career worked as an engine engineer for Jenson Button. He collaborated with Fernando Alonso during the world championship triumphs of 2005 and 2006. In 2009 Taffin became manager of the team's track activities, before a switch in 2011 to a role looking after Renault's engine customers.

Tokyo Paralympic Games to set a record in women participation

At least 40.5 per cent of all the athletes will be women, according to the IPC Qualification Criteria. This equates to 1,782 athletes, an increase on the 1,671 women who competed at Rio 2016 (38.6 per cent). Tokyo, which will make history as the first city to stage the Paralympic Games for a second time -- having hosted the event in 1964 -- will also see badminton, a sport with mass viewership, make its debut along with taekwondo.
Olympics bring injury problems for Real Madrid and Barcelona

Ceballos has come off worst of the two after Real Madrid confirmed that he has suffered a "complete tear in his anterior talofibular and calcaneofibular ankle ligaments." The news is surprising given that the Spanish Football Federation announced at the Olympics that he had suffered a 'grade two' twisted ankle in the first match of the Games against Egypt, and Ceballos was thought to have been close to playing in the final.

However, Nadal withdrew before his match. Nadal's left foot injury forced him to miss Wimbledon and the Tokyo Olympics.

we must pause to note the unseen hand of the coaches -- seven foreign and one Indian -- who played key roles in fashioning this moment of victory. They worked on perfecting athelete and their technique and in 2019 one of the coach handed Chopra over to his compatriot Bartonietz, who added muscle to the athlete's frame.
