Addressing a press conference in Ahmedabad ahead of first phase of Gujarat Assembly elections to be held on December 1, Singh lashed out at Mallikarjun Kharge for comparing Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 'Ravana'. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a symbol of Gujarat's pride and identity in the 21st century and such a Prime Minister is being abused by the Congress.

Delhi Police have registered an FIR against Joginder Singh, an AAP candidate for the December 4 MCD election from Ward-19 Swaroop Nagar, for flaunting a revolver, an official said on Wednesday. The police action came after a video went viral showing Singh, alias Bunty, flaunting the revolver while dancing with four other people in a room, the official said.
BJP claims better performance than UPA govt in economic domain

Thevar community elders to persuade BJP leaders for OPS, Sasikala re-entry into AIADMK

During a recent meeting of the Thevar community at Tirunelveli, a meeting of the elders of the community was held in which it was decided that they will approach the BJP leaders to persuade the AIADMK leadership to accommodate both OPS and Sasikala into the party. Sasikala, the former interim general secretary of the AIADMK, was removed from party positions after she was incarcerated in Bengaluru central prison in a case related to amassing wealth above her known sources of income.

Both Gehlot and Pilot greeted each other in the meeting. Later, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee chief Govind Singh Dotasra shared photographs on Twitter with a caption 'The United Colours of Rajasthan'. Those seen in the photographs are Dotasra, along with Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, Pilot and Gehlot. Recently, differences between the Gehlot and Pilot turned worse after the veteran Congress leader called his former deputy a traitor during an interview with a media outlet.
After gap of nearly two months, Bihar RJD chief visits party office

Sources have said that Jagadanand Singh was not pleased with the top leadership of RJD and its close proximity with Nitish Kumar. After his son Sudhakar Singh was forced to resign from the post of agriculture minister of Bihar, Jagadanand Singh refused to come to the RJD office. He had also offered to resign from the post. Singh last went to the party office on October 2 and then went to his village. He also stayed away from the party activities till Tuesday.

Bharathi in a statement said, "Some 2,39,76,670 voters will exercise their rights to vote their representatives, total 788 candidates are in fray from 39 political parties and independent candidates. They will cast their votes in 25,430 polling booths, of which 16,416 are in rural areas, and 9,014 in urban areas."

The appeal has come as a surprise to all as the cricketer's wife Rivaba Jadeja is the BJP candidate from the same seat. In the said video, Anirudhsinh Jadeja appeals, "I Anirudhsinh Jadeja am appealing to vote for Congress candidate Bipendrasinh Jadeja. He is like my younger brother. I, especially, appeal to Rajput voters to vote for Bhupendrasinh."
