BJP campaigning on communal lines, says Mallikarjun Kharge in Gujarat

Before Kharge addressed the mediapersons in Ahmedabad after BJP senior leader Jaynarayan Vyas joined the Congress. Kharge and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot welcomed Vyas in the party. While speaking with the mediapersons Kharge said, "Congress has prepared India's development roadmap in the 70 years, and the party that has come to power recently, knows only one language to attack political opponents, it has no vision to take ahead the country."
Shivpal Yadav's security scaled down

Share of candidates with criminal records goes up in Gujarat polls

The number of crorepati candidates has also increased in the state as out of the 833 candidates, 245 (29 per cent) are crorepatis whereas in 2017 Gujarat Assembly Elections phase II, out of 822 candidates 199 (24 per cent) were crorepatis. As per a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), out of 833 candidates analyzed, 163 (20 per cent) candidates have declared criminal cases against themselves
After furore for slurring women, Swami Ramdev regrets and apologises

Telangana BJP chief placed under house arrest to foil march

The police stopped Sanjay on way to Bhainsa on Sunday night and sent him back to Karimnagar as the permission was denied for his march due to apprehension of breach of peace. Large number of police personnel were deployed around Sanjay's house to prevent him from heading towards the town.
BJP releases 'Delhi Ka Ladka' cartoon series to showcase work done by MCD

Addressing a press conference, BJPO's MCD election management committee chief Ashish Sood said: "In response to the paid campaign of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), this creative cartoon series will tell Delhiites as to what has happened in the last eight years in the national capital." Telangana police stop state BJP Chief ahead of 'padayatra'

After denying permission for the yatra and the public meeting in Bhainsa town of Nirmal district, police stopped Bandi Sanjay and other leaders and party workers accompanying him and sent them back. The convoy of Sanjay, who is also a Member of Parliament, was forced to stop near Tatipalli in Jagtiyal mandal. The police asked him to return citing lack of permission for the padyatra.
