Kangana Applauds PM Modi's Support for Women in Video with Italy's Giorgia Meloni

Kangana shared the video on her social media on Saturday, captioning it with: "One of the most endearing qualities of Modi ji is that he makes women feel that he is rooting for them and wants them to rise [heart emoji]. No wonder PM Meloni thinks that Modi ji is team Meloni."

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who recently secured the Lok Sabha seat for Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, posted a video featuring Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The clip captures Meloni taking a selfie with Modi during their bilateral talks at the G7 Outreach Summit in Apulia, Italy.

Kangana shared the video on her social media on Saturday, captioning it with: "One of the most endearing qualities of Modi ji is that he makes women feel that he is rooting for them and wants them to rise [heart emoji]. No wonder PM Meloni thinks that Modi ji is team Meloni."

In the video, Meloni is heard saying, "Hello from the Meloni team." The video, originally posted by Italy's PM Giorgia Meloni on her X handle, shows the two leaders greeting each other and posing together.

In that regard, PM Modi visited the Apulia region of Italy to join the G7 Outreach Summit earlier this week at the invitation of the Italian Prime Minister. With that, PM Modi made his first international visit since he started his third consecutive term in office.

This isn't the first time Meloni has shared a selfie with PM Modi. Last December, she posted a similar photo from the COP28 summit in Dubai, captioning it 'Good friends at COP28.'

PM Modi re-shared Meloni’s video on his X handle, writing: “Long live India-Italy friendship!”

Meanwhile, Kangana is enjoying some family time, recently posting on her Instagram stories to congratulate her cousin Varun on his wedding. She posted a picture of Varun and his bride, saying: "Le bhai tera bhi ho gaya kaam, sabse chota lekin shaadi ki sabse jaldi."

On the work front, Kangana will next direct her film 'Emergency'. As the title suggests, she play former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Based on one of the darkest periods in Indian democracy, the Emergency was clamped by the government from 1975 to 1977. Intense political drama to be promised, the power Eurym listing of the then Congress government is expected to appeal to many.
