Ajit Pawar Criticizes Opposition to Hindi in Schools, Affirms Marathi Will Remain Priority

He blamed the parties for creating "unnecessary disputes" where there are no real issues.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has expressed his opposition to political parties that are going against the move to introduce Hindi as compulsory third language from classes 1 to 5 for students in Marathi and English-medium schools in the state. He blamed the parties for creating "unnecessary disputes" where there are no real issues.

Pawar, while addressing during the inauguration ceremony of a national memorial for Chapekar Brothers in Pimpri Chinchwad on Friday, renewed the state's pledge to Marathi, assuring, "Marathi is our mother language and will forever remain first priority in the state."
