Rajya Sabha: 3 more opposition MPs suspended for 1 week
The three suspended members are Sushil Kumar Gupta, Sandeep Kumar Pathak and Ajit Kumar Bhuyan. With this, 23 members from the Opposition are now facing suspension. The House proceedings were adjourned for till 2 p.m. amid ruckus from the Opposition benches.

India reports 20,557 new Covid cases, 44 deaths
In the same period, there were 44 additional deaths which took the nationwide Covid death toll to 5,26,211.
The active caseload rose to 1,46,323, accounting for 0.33 per cent of the country's total positive cases. The recovery of 19,216 patients in the last 24 hours took the cumulative tally to 4,32,86,787. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.47 per cent.

Moreover, the total number of candidates recommended by recruiting agencies for appointment in different Central government departments has shown a decline over the last few years, Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh told the Lok Sabha in a written reply. During 2019-20, a total 1,47,096 persons were appointed in the different government departments. However, the number came down to 78,555 in 2020-21 and 38,850 in 2021-22.

Three Indians named in Ukraine's 'Russian Propagandists' list
As per reports, the three individuals were named in a list released on July 14 by the Centre for Countering Disinformation (CCD), a subsidiary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council. Though the criteria for inclusion are unclear, each name in the report lists with the "pro-Russian" tag.
