According to the Anger Index, a survey conducted by CVoter opinion poll on behalf of IANS, Indians are most angry with Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot (a Congress leader), and least angry with Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel (also a Congress leader).
PM Modi to inaugurate DefExpo22 in Gujarat on Wednesday

This will be his third visit to the state, which will go to the polls in December, in less than one month. He had visited the state between September 29-30, as well as from October 9-11. The DefExpo22 will take place at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar. Later in the day, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the India Urban Housing Conclave 2022 and dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple key projects in Rajkot.
At 1,542 cases, India reports dip in daily Covid tally

In the same period, eight more Covid related deaths were logged, taking the national fatalities tally to 5,28,913. Meanwhile, the active caseload stands at 26,449 cases, accounting for 0.06 per cent of the total positive cases. The recovery of 1,919 patients in the last 24 hours took the cumulative tally to 4,40,77,068. Consequently, the recovery rate stands at 98.76 per cent.

India will start making Kalashnikov AK 203 assault rifles

The weapon will be manufactured at a plant in Korwa in Uttar Pradesh, according to Alexander Mikheev, the head of Rosoboronexport, the Russian state agency for international arms trade, RT reported. "We plan 100 pert cent localisation of the production of the legendary Russian assault rifles in India. In the future, the joint enterprise may ramp up capacity and upgrade to manufacture more advanced models based on the Kalashnikov platform," the agency quoted its chief as saying in a statement issued on Monday.

Apart from this, Transfer of Technology (TOT) contract will be signed for 18 technologies, and some 37 major announcements will take place during the five-day long expo.

Justice D.Y. Chandrachud appointed next Chief Justice of India

Justice Chandrachud will be sworn in as India's 50th CJI on November 9. Law Minister Kiren Rijiju, in a tweet, said: "In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, President appoints Dr. Justice DY Chandrachud, Judge, Supreme Court as the Chief Justice of India with effect from 9th November, 22".
PM Modi to address Interpol general assembly on Tuesday

The Interpol General Assembly will be attended by delegations from 195 Interpol member countries comprising of ministers, police chiefs of countries, heads of National Central Bureaus and senior police officers. Interpol's supreme governing body, the General Assembly meets once a year to take key decisions related to its functioning.
