The highly awaited sequel of 1997 cult hit I Know What You Did Last Summer is releasing in Indian theatres on July 18, Sony Pictures Entertainment India declared.
The movie features the come back of Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt in their original roles. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson directs the movie and includes a new set of actors that include Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, and Jonah Hauer-King.
The story of I Know What You Did Last Summer is about five friends whose lives are torn asunder by a long-hidden secret—a deadly mistake they wanted to bury. But when they are stalked by a supernatural killer pursuing them, they find themselves caught up in something much worse and more terrifying. Seeking explanations, they search for the real Southport Massacre survivors and are greeted instead with the ghastly shock that history repeats itself.
Filmed by Columbia Pictures and Original Film, the action-packed follow-up is guaranteed to bring tension and shudders, having fans on pins and needles.
