10. The Umbrella Academy – Final Season (Season 4) (Netflix)
The Umbrella Academy – Final Season (Season 4) concludes Netflix’s acclaimed comic book superhero series based on the books of Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. When picking up from the Season 3 finale, the Hargreeves siblings are in a new reality, one without powers and which has been manipulated by their father, Reginald Hargreeves. The final season promises to provide closure for the siblings as they don't only face personal reckonings, but new ones, in this dysfunctional family story. All of the stars are returning, Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Aidan Gallagher, etc., and provided the stakes are high, the action remains flashy, and the expect particularly dark humor, with interesting time travel situations. As the series concludes, fans are looking forward to how the siblings reflect upon their destiny and perhaps depart with actual peace.

9. Loki – Season 3 (TBD) (Disney+ / Disney+ Hotstar)
Season 3 of Loki has not been announced and is currently highly unlikely for now. Both writer Eric Martin and star Tom Hiddleston have said that the story has reached its natural conclusion over the course of two seasons: "We treated this like two halves of a book...we close the book on Loki and the TVA," Martin said. Hiddleston concurs, believing the finale of Season 2 was an appropriate conclusion: "we landed where we needed to land". However, Marvel does not appear to rule it totally out—Brad Winderbaum said "there's always a chance," and Kevin Wrong said they would come back if "the right story is there." So there is the possibility at some point—maybe with Secret Wars—but Season 3 at this time is in the speculative category rather than planned.

8. Farzi – Season 2 (Prime Video)
"Farzi" Season 2, the follow-up to the hit 2023 follow-up series, is officially under development. The writer's room is now active and pre-production is under way under creators Raj & DK, after they completed their other projects. The expectation is to start filming some time in December 2025, with broadcaster Amazon Prime Video expecting to deliver new episodes in late 2026/early 2027. The story will begin right after the cliff-hanger that ends Season 1, and will throw us right back into the action between Sunny (Shahid Kapoor), Michael (Vijay Sethupathi), and criminal kingpin Mansoor (Kay Kay Menon). It is likely that other cast members, such as Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Zakir Hussain, Amol Palekar, Kubbra Sait and Regina Cassandra, will return. With a mix of crime, humor, and high jinks, Season 2 aims to try and match, and even up the stakes of, the first season record-breaking season.

7. The Boys – Season 4 (Prime Video)
On June 13, 2024, Prime Video launched the fourth season of The Boys, with three episodes debuting followed by weekly episodes until the finale on July 18, 2024. The fourth season picks up some six months from the conclusion of season 3 and follows on the heels of Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) heading for the Oval Office while under the authoritarian rule of Homelander (Antony Starr). Meanwhile, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) is dying from taking Temp-V and is trying to bring together The Boys as well as save Homelander's son, Ryan. A number of essential characters made their first appearance in this season, such as Sister Sage (Susan Heyward), Firecracker (Valorie Curry), and Joe Kessler (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The series has been praised for its savage satire and its poignant political relevance, and it has also faced controversy; the finale was temporarily postponed and changed its name due to real-world political violence.

6. Wednesday – Season 2 (Netflix)
Wednesday – Season 2 will land at Nevermore Academy in two parts: Part 1 on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 on September 3, 2025. Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams—full-time outcast, wannabe mystery writer, and part-time detective—with newly acquired psychic abilities, hot on the heels of a serial-killer known as the “Kansas City Scalper,” during her summer break. The Gothic aesthetic is enhanced: expect eerie dolls, a horror slasher's vibe, and a bloodier mystery with romantic subplots that will take a backseat for the time being. The extensive cast adds Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Gomez (Luis Guzmán), Pugsley, Thing, and newcomers Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Thandiwe Newton, Joanna Lumley, and Haley Joel Osment. Lady Gaga guest stars in Part 2 as Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious new teacher at Nevermore. Season 2 takes on macabre mysteries, family dynamics, friendship, and supernatural terror made in the context of an overall vision of showrunners Gough & Millar and director Tim Burton.

5. Panchayat – Season 3 (Prime Video India)
Set in Phulera, this season opens with the transfer of Secretary Abhishek—a fresh officer comes, but the villagers force Abhishek to return. The political strategies amplify: Pradhanji (Raghubir Yadav) and Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) are tussling over PM-Awas Yojana housing allocations, Bhushan and Binod are looking for ways to benefit from the scheme and unearth its unsavoury details, and MLA Chandrakishore Singh proceeds to make an exit from writing drama and enter dramatic competition—which ends up in some catalysing arrests from a dog killing incident. Meanwhile, Prahlad (Faisal Malik) is trying to tackle grief and alcoholism since his son dies, but the good people of the village help him regain some of his purpose once again. Abhishek is balancing CAT exam preparations, investigating a romance with Rinki and now the hat for village politics, while the villagers are preparing for their Panchayat elections. The richness of this season is reinforced by an inspired body of writing, rich performances, and layered emotional stakes, despite it leaning further, and more deliberately into politics and slowness of pace.

4. Mirzapur – Season 3 (Prime Video India)
Mirzapur - Season 3 continues the dark tale of crime, power, and revenge in the crime-infested town of Mirzapur. The new season follows the events from Season 2 and the ramifications from Munna Tripathi's death, as well as the weakening status of Kaleen Bhaiya. Guddu Pandit and Golu are prepared to take their power back, however it will not be easy, especially with the rival factions also competing for their share of the pie as well as their alliances changing. With the rising levels of political interference and revenge from former enemies, new players begin to emerge that would upset the balance of power even further. As with the previous seasons, the show returns with violent action, well constructed characters, and unexpected twists, and once again attempts to accurately represent a world of ambition, loyalty, and survival where power is king. The story blends violent drama and action, while still maintaining a raw and gritty portrayal of rural India and the rewards or consequences it requires when searching for power.

3. Squid Game – Season 3 (Netflix)
Squid Game – Season 3 takes off after the crazy cliffhanger of Season 1 where Seong Gi-hun escapes with his life, he also escapes onto a plane heading to the U.S., but chooses to abort his flight and instead promises he will expose the deadly game. Of course it isn't quite that simple and this season digs deeper into the origins of the Squid Game, introduces an entirely new cast of characters, and brings back characters like the Front Man and recruiter. Themes of power, class struggle and morality will only grow escalated as new players are faced with challenges that are brutal. Hwang Dong-hyuk is back for Season 2 and he promises even more ridiculous stakes, games and psychological twists than in Season 1. There is a great deal of global anticipation. Netflix has said Season 2 will be darker with a more complex story around the system that drives the games and Gi-hun's motivation for justice.

2. The Last of Us – Season 2 (HBO / JioCinema)
The Last of Us - Season 2 is the follow-up to Season 1 and continues the heart-wrenching post-apocalyptic journey of Ellie and Joel after the emotional closure at the end of the first season. It is based on the video game, The Last of Us Part II, and focuses on themes of vengeance, trauma, and the fallout from Joel's morally ambiguous decision he made about Ellie at the end of Season 1. Bella Ramsey reprises her role as Ellie, while new characters like Abby and others, provide intense emotional and physical conflict for both Ellie and Joel. The narrative begins and then unfolds in a much darker, and more complicated world ravaged by the Cordyceps infection. HBO's The Last of Us - Season 2 continues the tall order of creating aesthetically beautiful work while providing in-depth character development and a haunting narrative full of painful emotions. HBO's The Last of Us - Season 2 will not only create a spellbinding second season, it will undoubtedly, a compelling sequel version to an already critically acclaimed and Emmy winning series.

1. House of the Dragon – Season 2 (HBO / JioCinema)
House of the Dragon – Season 2 elevates the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons, and follows the aftermath of the great power battle taking place between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower's faction for the Iron Throne. As the storyline moves from conflict to conflict, Westeros enters into a chaotic state where alliances are made and broken, and betrayal, blood, and dragonfire ultimately decide the outcome of the realm. The second season does a great job in exploring and developing character arcs, while including shifting alliances, betrayals, and the tragedy fueled by ambition and vengeance. Season 2 will have familiar faces returning from Season 1 such as Emma D'Arcy, Olivia Cooke, and Matt Smith, and it will feature even grander battle sequences. As in Season 1, the events of this second season appear to be quicker in pace as the plot unfolds. HBO's epic saga continues, re-examining the roots of the Targaryen dynasty, and the aftermath of the civil war should be overwhelming.
