The admission process for the academic year 2022-23 will be purely done on CUET entrance results. Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh on the new policy for admissions said The new admission policy is a landmark. "It is mandatory for all candidates to appear in CUET-2022, including those seeking admission to supernumerary seats. The eligibility criteria will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in CUET."
After the CUET results are announced there will be an online counselling round. In each round of counselling, students will be given a fresh to refill their preferences for university/colleges. There is a high chance that there will be three rounds of counselling. The last one will be spot rounds.
In 50 per cent of seats reserved for minority colleges, 85 per cent of the marks for admission will be taken from the CUET and the remaining 15 per cent will be decided by the colleges, Singh said. Minority colleges like Jesus and Mary, St Stephen's and Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa have 50 per cent seats reserved for minority communities, Singh said.
There will be three sections in CUET-2022. The duration of the entrance exam will be 150 minutes. The candidate will have to choose among 13 language options to attempt the paper. A candidate can apply for three universities/colleges at a time.

No changes in the application form will be entertained by the university once the application form is submitted on the portal.
The eligibility for admission to most B.Sc courses would be calculated on the basis of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. It is mandatory to obtain at least 30 per cent marks in any one language in CUET. There will be no disadvantage to students willing to change their streams. Haneet Gandhi(Dean of admissions) said.
For the students wishing to apply for B.A. Eco, it will be compulsory to take Mathematics as a subject in CUET entrance. Students can appear for entrance in a maximum of six subjects, out of which one language subject is mandatory. The best scores of CUET will be taken into consideration.
The registration process for CUET started on April 6 and will end on May 6.

The application process for students aspiring to take admission through SOL and NCWEB will start on May 6. The admission of these categories will purely be on a merit basis and not CUET.
