CUET registration for the academic year 2022-2023 will commence on April 6 and will end on May 6, 2022(up to 5:00 pm). Earlier the application process was to start on April 2 but is now delayed to April 6. The National Testing Agency has announced that the entrance examination will be conducted in online CBT mode( Computer Based Test). The examination will consist of Multiple Choice based questions and is speculated to be held in the first or second week of July.
University Grants Commission Chairman Jagadesh Kumar on CUET 2022 said “To begin with, CUET will be conducted once this year but NTA will consider conducting the exam at least twice a year from the next session. The entrance exam will not just be limited to Central Universities but also private ones. Several prominent private universities have indicated that they would like to come on board and admit students through CUET"
The candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2022 can register at the official website, once the application forms are out. The link to the official site of CUET is cuet.samarth.ac.in.
CUET is an all-India common entrance test for students aspiring to take admissions to various undergraduate level programs and courses offered by the central universities of India and other deemed universities which are taking part in the CUET 2022 process.

The entrance examination will be conducted in 13 languages — Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia and English. The paper pattern for testing the knowledge of candidates will be marked as per their class 12th level books.
There will be 54 universities participating in CUET 2022. A candidate can apply for three universities of his/her choice. If the candidate wishes to apply for additional university apart from the three taken, an amount of ₹800 will be charged extra to it.
No changes in the university preferences can be made once the application form is submitted on the official website.
Cuet 2022 will comprise 4 sections:
- Section IA- 13 languages
- Section IB- 19 Languages
- Section II - 27 domain-specific subjects
- Section III- General ability test
Candidates appearing for CUET UG 2022 will be given 150 minutes of which 45 minutes will be for section I, 45 minutes for section II, and 60 minutes for section III.

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA or CUET
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link, 'CUET 2022 Registration'.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and proceed with the application form.
Step 5: Upload the required documents and click on the submit button.
Step 6: Proceed to pay the fee for your application form
Step 7: Save the form or take out a printout of the application form for future reference
