Tata Motors launch sub-compact SUV Punch at Rs 5.49 lakh

Tata Motors revealed that the designing of the new SUV Punch was a collaborative effort of  India, UK, and Italy-based Tata Motors Design Studios. The is available both in 'Manual (MT) and Automatic' (AMT) transmission options and built on the proven and modern Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) Architecture.

Foldable steering wheel for future vehicles arriving soon

The affiliate of Hyundai Motor Group said it developed a foldable steering system after two years of research. The company said it is currently working to acquire patents for the new system. The system features a steering wheel that can be folded inside the dashboard and move up to 25 centimeters back and forth to create more space for the driver's seat.

Gadkari said: "I have told Tesla that don't sell electric cars manufactured in China, in India. You should manufacture electric cars in our country, and also export cars from India." The government may consider lowering import duty along with offering other sops to Tesla but for that the EV major would have to invest in setting up a manufacturing facility in the country.
