Altaf Hussain, founder of Muttahidda Qaumi Movement(MQM), has urged the United Nation Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, British PM Boris Johnson, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian Parliament to come forward and liberate Sindh and Balochistan from Pakistan on a war footing basis. He made these remarks while addressing the Muhajir Martyrs' Day gathering organised by the UK MQM chapter in London. In the gathering he also said "the partition was a hugi sin of our forefathers", adding Muhajirs are still paying for that mistake. Citing the independence of East Pakistan, he made a request to the Indian government to liberate Sindh and Balochistan as well.

Referring to the liberation of of East Pakistan in 1971, he urged the government of India to help Balochistan and Sindh gain independence. He further said the condition of people in Pakistan-occupied territories- Sindh and Balochistan - are in a miserable state and sought help from the world's largest democracy , India. He alsoalleged that military of Pakistan has converted Paksitan into a safe heaven for terrorist organisations like Taliban, ISIS, LeJ, etc. putting the peace of entire world at risk

Having a soft corner for India, Hussain further said that the partition of India was the biggest mistake of human history. “The land there has been narrowed for them, India must open doors for Mujahirs. I promise we will reverse the mistake and repay the debt of kindness by our deed,” the MQM chief said. He also added that'We will not form a union with Pak but will form a union with India'
4. He stated the problems being faced by the people of Balochistan and Sindh, the MQM founder said the doors of jobs are being closed for the Muhajirs. He also added that the Sindhi elite are working to enslave the poor Muhajirs.
5. He also accused China for overtaking Baloch and Sindh.
