Revanth Reddy and Owaisi Call on PM Modi to ‘Divide Pakistan and Integrate PoK with India’

On taking part in a candlelight protest march in Hyderabad against the Pahalgam terror attacks, Reddy requested the Prime Minister to proceed with these actions in solidarity with Modi. "Go ahead, please, and the 140 crore Indians and me will be at your back. Divide Pakistan in two and integrate PoK in India, all of us stand with you. It is not the time for politics," he was quoted by ANI as saying.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make bold choices by "halving Pakistan and bisecting it" and consolidating Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) with India.

On taking part in a candlelight protest march in Hyderabad against the Pahalgam terror attacks, Reddy requested the Prime Minister to proceed with these actions in solidarity with Modi. Reddy emphasized that the entire nation had been disturbed by the terror attacks, which were directed against fellow countrymen. He insisted on a strong reaction, expressing, "At a time like this, when terrorists have struck our fellow citizens, the entire 140 crore population of the country has taken the attack to heart. Now is the time to respond strongly."

The Chief Minister also emphasized that the people of Telangana, along with global allies, united against terrorism. "4 crore of people of Telangana state and members of at least 100 countries of the world joined together and are fighting against terrorism. We will also join our Prime Minister to battle," he stated.

Reddy also referred to past incidents, recalling how the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had responded to external threats. "Prime Minister Modi Ji, in 1967 when our China attacked, Indira Ji acted strongly. Then in 1971 when Pakistan attacked, Indira Ji provided a befitting response and split Pakistan into two and created Bangladesh," Reddy stated. He added, "Now it is time to take revenge against Pakistan for what they have done.". We must act decisively - the time for negotiation is over. It is time to give a fitting reply.

Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi also participated in the march and showed his solidarity on social media. He tweeted on X, "We are united against terrorism. Along with @revanth_anumula & thousands of Indian citizens, I participated in a candlelight march against the cowardly Pahalgam terror attack."

Prime Minister Modi, in a speech on Thursday, vowed to deal strongly with the culprits of the Pahalgam attacks. "Friends, today from the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world India will recognize, chase, and punish all terrorists and their sympathizers. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth. India's spirit will never be broken by terrorism," Modi said in Madhubani, Bihar.
