During their meeting in Ramallah on Sunday, Abbas emphasized to Blinken that the Palestinian Authority exclusively represents the Palestinian people and not the interests of Hamas.

The war cabinet, composed of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yuav Gallant, and minister without portfolio and former chief of armed staff Benny Gantz, holds the key to decisions regarding a potential ceasefire.

The designated time for this movement is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Israel time), which corresponds to 11:00 GMT to 14:00 GMT on Saturday.

Hamas had created a list of seriously wounded individuals it wished to evacuate from Gaza for treatment in Egypt, in addition to thousands of foreign nationals seeking to leave Gaza, as stated by the Times of Israel.

According to the IDF, more than 130 Hamas militants have been killed since the ground invasion began.
