When questioned about potential temporary "humanitarian" pauses in the conflict, as suggested by US President Joe Biden and top administration officials, Prime Minister Netanyahu clarified that a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza is contingent upon the release of all hostages. 

Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant revealed that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar had taken refuge in a bunker, while his commanders were deployed to the front lines. 

The IDF claims to have eliminated ten senior commanders of the Palestinian militant group, which has governed the Gaza Strip since 2007, during their latest military operations in the besieged region.

The draft resolution was crafted by the E-10, a group comprising ten non-permanent member states of the Security Council. However, during a private UNSC session on Monday, the United States and the United Kingdom, both permanent members with veto power, opposed the resolution.

Iran, Russia, and China have been reportedly utilizing both state media and social media platforms to diminish the standing of Israel and the United States while offering support to Hamas, as outlined in a recent media report.

On Sunday, the Israeli military announced that they had encircled Gaza City, effectively creating a division between the northern and southern parts of the enclave.

One of the speakers, Inbar Goldstein, shared her personal tragedy where her brother and niece were murdered, and her sister-in-law and her three children were kidnapped from their home in Kibbutz. She emphasized that there can be no victory for the state of Israel without the safe return of the hostages. 

Khamenei expressed admiration for the resilience and determination of the people of Gaza and strongly condemned the actions of Israel, which he accused of committing crimes with the direct support of the United States and certain Western nations.

The IDF Spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, made a statement on Sunday, revealing that new intelligence information and evidence suggest that Hamas has been using medical facilities in Gaza for military purposes.
