James Rubin, the US Special Envoy and Coordinator of the Global Engagement Centre (GEC), emphasized the importance of support from like-minded allies during a recent meeting at the US Embassy in London. Rubin highlighted the need to combat information warfare tactics employed by Russia, China, Iran, and terrorist organizations.

The majority of the GEC's efforts are focused on countering information warfare activities from Russia and China, as well as addressing the disruptive actions of Iran in the Middle East. Rubin highlighted Iran's involvement in supporting terrorist groups and disrupting global shipping operations through disinformation and denial tactics.
