In a statement on Telegram, the Ministry said that an attempt by Ukraine "to carry out a terrorist attack by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on facilities in the Moscow region has been foiled, reports CNN. "The UAV was destroyed by means of air defence," the Ministry said, adding that there were no casualties or damage. 

According to accounts associated with the mercenary group, the meeting took place on Thursday and the dignitary is part of the Central African Republic delegation to the Russia-Africa summit, reports CNN. For several years, Wagner had a presence in the Central African Republic.

"Last night, the Russian armed forces launched a group strike with long-range high-precision sea- and air-based weapons on facilities where terrorist acts against Russia were being prepared using uncrewed boats, as well as on places where they were being manufactured near the city of Odessa," it added on Sunday.

Data from Russia's Central Bank reveal that the ratio, which stood at 16.6 per cent at the end of 2022, has further declined, reports Xinhua news agency. By late March, state and corporate debt combined amounted to $354.8 billion.

"Due to the termination of the Black Sea Initiative, and the curtailment of the maritime humanitarian corridor, all ships en route to Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea will be considered potential carriers of military cargo from 00:00 Moscow time on July 20, 2023," it added on Wednesday.

"President Putin has decided to participate in the BRICS summit in the format of a video conference call," Peskov said on Wednesday, adding that the Russian leader intends to fully participate in the event. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will attend the summit in person, the spokesman said as quoted by Xinhua news agency report.

While China stated that the G20 FMCBG meeting was not the right forum to discuss geopolitical issues, Russia dissociated itself from the status of the document. The outcome document deplored "in the strongest terms the aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine and demands its complete and unconditional withdrawal from the territory of Ukraine.

"Even without the Russian Federation, everything must be done so that we can use this Black Sea corridor," Zelensky was cited as saying. Zelensky noted that he ordered the Foreign Ministry to prepare "official signals" to the United Nations and Turkey regarding the continuation of the deal, Xinhua news agency reported.

“Russia has a sufficient supply of various types of cluster munitions,” CNN quoted the President as saying during an interview with local Russian media. “If they are used against us, we reserve the right to mirror actions.” Putin's remarks came just days after Ukraine received a delivery of American-made cluster munitions from the US.
