PKL 8: Raiders shine as UP Yoddha beat Tamil Thalaivas

The result will help Yoddha increase their chances of making it to the Playoffs. Tamil Thalaivas matched UP blow for blow throughout the match but their lack of ALL OUTs eventually affected the outcome of the game. Manjeet scored a Super 10 (13 points) for the Tamil team. Both raiders secured Super 10s in a high-scoring game that was only decided in the final minute.
PKL 8: Raiders shine as Patna Pirates beat U Mumba 47-36

Sachin (16 points) and Guman Singh (11 points) were in top form for the three-time champions as they consolidated their position on top of the points table with a comfortable victory. U Mumba's Abhishek Singh (13 points) and Ajith Kumar (11 points) got their Super 10s but the team, especially captain Fazel Atrachali, struggled to provide the support from the defence.

Ashish was supported well by his captain Vikash Kandola with eight points. Coach Rakesh Kumar didn't even have to use the likes of Meetu and Rohit Gulia from the bench as his Haryana team once again showed why they are rated amongst the best.
PKL 8: Telugu Titans and Bengal Warriors share the spoils

Bengal captain Maninder Singh scored a Super 10 (11 points) but that wasn't once again enough to save his team. The defending champions will now need a flawless end to the season and a few other results going their way to make it to the Playoffs. The Titans showed grit and courage against the Warriors to earn three points from the tie. Ankit Beniwal (9 points) and Rajnish (7 points) were the stars for the Titans who still have just one win in the entire season.
PKL 8: Deepak Hooda shines as Jaipur Pink Panthers overcome Gujarat Giants

Hooda scored a Super 10 (11 points) in a win that will help Jaipur in the race for a Playoff spot and top-6 finish. He was supported well by the Panthers' defence. Sandeep Dhull scored four points while Deepak Singh and Vishal chipped in with three each.
PKL 8: Pardeep Kumar shines as Gujarat Giants beat Bengaluru Bulls

Bengaluru Bulls will have only themselves to blame for the loss. A lapse of concentration in the final minutes cost them important points. Their raiders Pawan Sehrawat and Bharat scored Super 10s but di'n't get the necessary support from the defence. There was very little to separate the two sides in an evenly contested first half. Bengaluru started the match brightly with their captain Pawan Sehrawat looking in good form.
PKL 8: Patna Pirates thrash Gujarat Giants by 20 points

Patna, the most successful team in PKL having won a hat-trick of titles, led 18-16 at half-time but came up with a brilliant effort in the second half to record a big win. Gujarat Giants made a solid start by getting Patna Pirates all-out in the first few minutes. But Patna Pirates made a comeback and repaid the all-out on Gujarat Giants. Patna led the first half as the score was 18-16.
PKL 8: Deepak Hooda shines as Jaipur Pink Panthers outclass Dabang Delhi KC

Dabang Delhi's disorganised defence was the main reason for their downfall. Experienced stars Manjeet Chhillar, Jeeva Kumar and Joginder Narwal had very little effect on the match. They got just 7 tackle points in the entire match (which included two Super Tackles). All-rounder Sandeep Narwal also had a poor outing, making errors in the defence and not involving in the raids. Vijay was the sole performer with 16 points.
PKL 8: Tamil Thalaivas thrash Telugu Titans in Southern Derby

Sahil Gulia in the left corner picked up 4 points while raiders Ajinkya Pawar (10 points) and Manjeet (9 points) excelled in the one-sided victory. Telugu Titans were once again without sufficient quality across the mat. The absence of Siddharth Desai and Rajnish cost them dearly as they remained with just one win in the season.

Surender Gill scored a Super 10 for UP Yoddha, but Patna Pirates defenders dominated the final 10 minutes of the match to ensure they clinched an important win in the race for a playoff spot.
