AAP has given in under a 'goon's pressure', now questioning my character: Swati Maliwal Criticizes AAP

Maliwal's discontent escalated after AAP leader Atishi suggested during a press conference that the assault allegations are part of a BJP conspiracy to discredit Kejriwal. Atishi labeled Maliwal as the face of this alleged conspiracy and dismissed her claims against Kumar as unfounded.

AAP MP Swati Maliwal has strongly criticized her own party for disregarding her accusations of assault against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide, Bibhav Kumar. Maliwal claims that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) succumbed to pressure and is now impugning her character. She asserts that the party has made a sudden reversal, retracting its earlier acknowledgment of Kumar's misconduct.

Expressing her frustration, Maliwal took to social media, stating in Hindi, "The leaders who recently joined AAP have labeled a party worker of 20 years as a BJP agent. Just two days ago, the party admitted the truth in a press conference, but today, it has reversed its stance."

Earlier, senior AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh had condemned the incident involving Maliwal, affirming that Kumar had indeed misbehaved with her.Maliwal did not directly name Kumar, though she accused the secretary of the chief minister of blackmailing his party, saying he would spill the beans if caught, and that Kumar is hiding in various places, including Lucknow.

Talking about the actions of her party, Maliwal said that no matter what, she is going to fight for women; her party's attempts to defame her character won't fetch her anything, and the truth will be out in due course of time.

In another social media update, Maliwal has said that she has got some information about tampering with CCTV cameras at the Chief Minister's residence, which hints at a cover-up. The Delhi Police has booked Kumar for allegedly assaulting Maliwal, and Kumar has also filed a complaint against Maliwal.
