Dabang Delhi KC beat Patna Pirates to clinch PKL season 8 title

The star raider Naveen Kumar (13 points) and all-rounder Vijay (14 points) secured Super 10s as Delhi overcame a tough challenge from three-time champions Patna Pirates. Patna had an uncharacteristically poor night in the defence with the likes of Mohammadreza Shadloui and Sunil committing far too many errors.
PKL 8: Dabang Delhi beat Bengaluru Bulls, cruise into final

Naveen Kumar picked a Super 10 (14 points) as Delhi's experienced stars registered a comeback win. Pawan Sehrawat (18 points) gave the Bulls a fast start, but Delhi secured important all-outs at crucial points of the game to turn it in their favour. It will be Dabang Delhi's consecutive finals and they will now play Patna Pirates in the summit clash on Friday. Patna Pirates thrashed UP Yoddha 38-27 in the first semifinal.
PKL 8: Pardeep Narwal shines as UP beat Pune to clinch semis berth

U.P. Yoddha made an incredible comeback to win the crucial encounter after trailing by eight points in the early minutes of the first half. Pardeep Narwal was ably supported by Yoddha's much-famed corner combination of Nitesh Kumar (3 points) and Sumit (5 points). Aslam Inamdar scored a Super 10 for Puneri Paltan but they lacked the usual raiding power to trouble the in-form U.P. defense.
PKL 8: Bengaluru Bulls defeat Gujarat Giants, enter into semis

Pawan Sehrawat scored 13 points while Mahender clinched a High 5 from the cover position. The Bulls outplayed Gujarat in every department with secondary raiders Bharat and Chandran Ranjit also contributing to the points. The match had a cagey start with both teams sizing each other up. The defences made uncanny errors while raiders took a very cautious approach.

Coach Manpreet Singh's men knew a win could secure a playoff spot and started the match with positive intent. Their raider Rakesh S was in red-hot form as he consistently found errors in Mumbai's defence that looked low on confidence. The Mumbai team had clearly been deflated by their poor campaign and Gujarat looked to take advantage by pushing for an early lead.

The Season 7 champions were trailing by 10 points at halftime but overcame that margin to beat Pune who are fighting for a playoffs spot. Puneri Paltan dominated the first half with their raiders Mohit Goyat and Aslam Inamdar doing the bulk of the work. Bengal's experienced defence had no answers for the skilled Pune raiders who picked easy points.
PKL 8: Dabang Delhi KC thrash Telugu Titans

The likes of Neeraj Narwal and Manjeet had a great outing and ensured the Titans never really had a chance to cause an upset. Titans' disappointing season came to an end with just 1 win in 22 matches. Ankit Beniwal scored 10 points for the Titans who will now need to rebuild the squad in the summer.Telugu Titans started the match on the front foot with their raiders Rajnish, Adarsh and Ankit Beniwal chipping in with points.
