Captain Vikash Kandola was Haryana's best player with 14 raid points in the match. The Haryana Steelers carried out a fantastic tackle in the fourth minute and took a two-point lead at 4-2. Kandola pulled off a brilliant raid moments later and helped the Steelers take a four-point lead at 7-3.
PKL 8: Dabang Delhi KC beat U Mumba 31-27

The raiders including Naveen Kumar had a very slow start to the game with both sets of defenders keeping a high line and not even allowing Bonus Points. Vijay, who was impressed in his first match of the season for Dabang Delhi KC, struggled to provide Naveen Kumar with the assistance, and the first half even saw Ajay Thakur make a few raids to change the momentum.
PKL: Gujarat Giants beat Jaipur Pink Panthers 34-27

Girish Maruti Ernak secured a high-4 (7 tackle points) and was aptly accompanied by teammate Parvesh Bhainswal (4 raid points) as Gujarat secured an important victory to open their campaign. Jaipur didn't have the raiding strength against Gujarat defence but will take positives from a tactically-fought Kabaddi match.
PKL: U Mumba beat Bengaluru Bulls 46-30 in opener

The U Mumba raider clinched a Super 10 (19 points) and was ably supported by the team's defence in a statement victory by the Season 2 champions. Pawan Sehrawat had an off-day for Bengaluru Bulls who missed a quality third raider to support Chandran Ranjit and Pawan on the match.
Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 to begin after a 20-month break

As a special format for PKL 8 season, organisers have scheduled 'Triple Headers' on the first four days of the competition to ensure that Kabaddi fans across the country get to watch each of their favourite teams play in the very initial days of the League. Former champions U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls face off in the opener, which will be followed by Telugu Titans' southern derby against Tamil Thalaivas.
Eighth season of Pro Kabaddi League to begin from December 22 in Bengaluru

Mashal Sports, the organisers of the league, have scheduled triple headers on the first four days. The season will kick-start with U Mumba facing Bengaluru Bulls. The second match will be the league's 'Southern Derby' as Telugu Titans lock horns with Tamil Thalaivas while UP Yoddha will be squaring off against the defending champions Bengal Warriors in the last match of the opening day.
