Russian armed forces destroy ammunition plant in Kiev
"During the night, high-precision air-based missiles destroyed an ammunition factory near Brovary (city) in the Kiev region," Ministry Spokesman, Igor Konashenkov told a daily briefing on Sunday. He added that 29 militants, including foreign mercenaries, were eliminated during the rescue of Russian hostages from a mosque in Mariupol city in eastern Ukraine, Xinhua news agency reported.
Kiev banned militants in Mariupol from negotiating surrender
"The Kyiv nationalist regime, according to radio interception, forbade negotiations on surrender," the general said, RT reported. According to him, the Azov Nazis were ordered to shoot on the spot all those who wanted to lay down their arms from among the Ukrainian military and foreign mercenaries. Earlier, Konashenkov said that the entire urban area of Mariupol was cleared of Ukrainian troops, the remnants of the group were blocked at the Azovstal plant.

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claimed in a Facebook post that the total combat losses of the Russian forces between February 24 and April 17 comprise approximately: 20,300 military personnel, 773 tanks, 2,002 armoured combat vehicles, 376 artillery systems, 127 multiple rocket launchers, 66 units of air defence equipment, 165 planes, 146 helicopters, 1,471 automotive equipment and eight ships/boats.
Kiev govt asks residents to postpone returning home
Russian forces have renewed bombardment of Kiev, the city administration said on Saturday in a statement on Telegram, urging people not to ignore the air raid sirens. Russian troops to ban movement in Mariupol for 'infiltration' operation

Russians missiles hit airfield in Ukraine's Oleksandriia
Shedding light on the incident that happened on Friday, Kuzmenko said: "There was a missile strike on airfield infrastructure in the city of Oleksandriia at 10.26 p.m. (Ukraine local time) on April 15. Rescue operations are ongoing." Like many other regions in the war-torn country, the air-raid alerts in the Kirovohrad region lasted from 10.30 to 11.32 p.m. as per the local time and were heard again at night and in the morning, reported Ukrayinska Pravda.
Russia warns West of 'unpredictable consequences'
The warning came in a formal diplomatic note from Moscow, a copy of which has been reviewed by media outlets in the US, BBC reported. The two-page diplomatic note - forwarded to the US State Department by the Russian embassy in Washington - warns that US and NATO weapons shipments are "adding fuel" to the conflict in Ukraine, and could lead to what Russian diplomats refer to as "unpredictable consequences", BBC reported.

Ukraine said it hit the Russian cruiser in the Black Sea with missiles while Russia has said a fire on board caused the sinking Russia's defence ministry said attacks on Kiev would be intensified if Ukraine targeted Russian territory.
