JEE Main 2021 Cutoff | NTA declares category wise list

The results of the JEE Main 2021 examinations can be obtained from the official website at jeemian.nta.nic.in.  The counseling sessions will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualified for the JEE Main and have fulfilled the cutoff criteria will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced .

Based on the results of the JEE MAIN 2021, the list of those who quality to appear for JEE Advanced is decided. The top 2.5 lakh candidates from  JEE MAIN are eligible to participate in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam. Registrations will be open at jeeadv.ac.in. The AIR 1 rank is shared by two girls-  Pal Agarwal (Uttar Pradesh) and Kavya Chopra (Delhi).

The topper of the latest session whose results were announced on Tuesday night is Pulkit Goyal. He says, "Maths is my favourite subject; I enjoy solving questions." Pulkit, who hails from Bathinda, Punjab, has obtained AIR-1 in JEE Main 2021. Pulkit focused on strengthening the foundation of all the subjects. He did self-study for 7 to 8 hours daily. For recreation, he spent time with his family. He aims to crack JEE Advanced and pursue engineering in the CS branch from IIT Bombay.

The announcement regarding the postponement of the registration was made on the official website which said:  “Due to delay in the publication in JEE (Main) 2021 results, the already announced date of registration for JEE (Advanced) 2021 stands postponed."The JEE Advanced 2021 examination will take place on October 3, and the exam is being conducted by IIT - Kharagpur this year.

The NTA JEE mains are held in four phases and the four sessions were conducted from August 26, 27, 31 to September 1 and 2. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main will be eligible for the JEE advanced which is scheduled to be held on October 3, 2021.
Last chance for students to register for JEE Mains on Wednesday

Lakhs of students across the country have already registered themselves for the fourth and the final stage of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for seeking admissions to top IITs. The National Testing Agency (NTA) said such students who were unable to register themselves for the JEE Main can still apply for registration till Wednesday after which no student will be allowed to appear in the exam.

In a tweet, Union Education Minister  Dharmendra Pradhan said that the time gap between JEE Main 2021 sessions 3 and 4 has been extended so that the students can maximise their performances. JEE(Main) 2021 session 4 will now take place on August 26, 27, 31, and September 1-2. Earlier, it was scheduled to take place in May.
