Amit Shah begins three-day trip to J&K
This is his first visit to the Union Territory after the reading down of the Article 370 from the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir and also gains significance after the killings of 11 civilians in Kashmir this month. According to Home Ministry officials, he will chair the high-level meeting at 12.30 p.m. with heads of security and intelligence agencies at the Raj Bhawan here.
Kashmir civilian killings: Special security group to lead anti-terror Ops
This group will consist of officials from the Intelligence agency, National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the officials from the central security forces, who have started working on a plan to nab the terrorists who killed 11 civilians in the last 16 days.

Pak, militants out to label every Kashmiri as terrorist; 4 non-locals shot in 24 hours
On Saturday evening, the ultras first killed a non-local 'golgappa' seller, Arbind Kumar Sah from Bihar, at Hawal in Srinagar's old city. Within an hour, another non-local carpenter, Sagheer Ahmed from Uttar Pradesh, was shot dead in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. Of the 11 civilians killed in the recent attacks, five were from other states.
4 more soldiers martyred in anti-terror operations in Poonch-Rajouri
The operation entered 5th day on Saturday and so far, 9 soldiers including two JCOs have been killed in this operation. Lt Colonel Devender Anand, defence ministry spokesman said, "Subedar Ajay Singh and Naik Harendra Singh of Indian Army were killed in action during search operations being conducted by the Indian Army along with Jammu and Kashmir Police.
ISI pushing its agenda of targeted killings in Kashmir
This was revealed after the security forces intercepted messages from terror outfits in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), which wanted to intensify the targeted killings in the Valley despite the fact that the Indian Army and central police forces have initiated major operations against the terrorists in the Valley.
Terrorist involved in shooting J&K cop killed in Srinagar encounter
"Killer of martyr PSI Arshid killed in Bemina encounter," police tweeted quoting IG, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar. The encounter ensued after a joint team of the police and the army, which cordoned off the area for a search operation on the basis of specific information about presence of terrorists, came under fire from the hiding terrorists and retaliated.
JCO, another soldier critically injured in J&K's Poonch
Defence Ministy spokesman, Lt Col Devender Anand said: "In an ongoing counter-terrorist operation in general area Nar Khas Forest, Mendhar Sub Division, District Poonch, there has been exchange of fire between army troops and terrorists during evening hours... "During the ensuing exchange of fire, one JCO and one soldier have been critically injured. The operations are under progress. Update follows."
