The strike hit a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, where relatives of Al Jazeera's Gaza bureau chief Wael Al-Dahdouh were taking shelter after being displaced, CNN quoted the Qatar-based news network as saying.

“Finally. For years, this clear call for the genocide of all Jews in Israel has been treated as legitimate political discourse. However, after Hamas revealed its true intentions to the world on October 7, with its frenzied slaughter of 1,400 Israeli men, women, and children of all ages just because they lived in the Jewish state, the world can no longer be indifferent to such expressions of exterminationist hatred," ,CAM CEO Sacha Roytman Dratwa said.

“It is time to designate Hamas as a terrorist organisation in India,” Gilon told reporters in Delhi during a media briefing on the Israel-Hamas war, adding that after Hamas’ brutal attacks on Israel on October 7, which killed 1,400 people, the Israeli government spoke to the Indian government about proscribing the Palestinian militant group.

“There was a remark of habitual nature by one delegation referring to union territories that are integral parts of my country. I will treat these commands with contempt and not dignify them with a response in the interest of time," India's Deputy Permanent Representative at the UN, Ambassador R. Ravindra said.

Netanyahu said this while interacting with soldiers of the Yahalom -- a special unit of the Israel Defense Forces. He told the soldiers that theIsrael was looking forward to the next phase of war which would be coming soon. Netanyahu said that Israel has been striking enemy with tremendous force and heavy casualties have been inflicted upon terror outfit Hamas. 

It said that the air strikes have destroyed Hamas' set up to fire rockets at Israel, and also the operational tunnel shaft allowing terrorists to infiltrate Israel through sea. The IDF in a statement said that it has destroyed Hamas command centres used by operatives, adding it will continue to carry out such strikes.

"I will not meet with the UN Secretary General. After October 7, there is no balanced approach. Hamas must be erased from the world," Eli Cohen said, according to officials.  The Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, has even called for the resignation of Guterres. 

The Italian Prime Minister met with the delegation at the Presidential Palace in Rome on Tuesday. The families arrived in Rome on Tuesday morning as part of a series of meetings being organised by the Israeli Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism in collaboration with the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

Some 2,000 troops have been put on alert to move into the Gulf as USS Gerald Ford and USS Eisenhower aircraft carriers with fighter aircraft are moving close to Israeli waters.

Israel said that its war on Hamas is aimed at destroying the group’s infrastructure, and has vowed to eliminate the entire organization.
