The upcoming film "Sikandar," starring Salman Khan, will include actress Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Mandanna is currently having a dream run in the movies.
This is the first time Rashmika and Salman have worked together.
A.R. Murugadoss, director of "Ghajini" and "Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty," is the man behind "Sikandar."
The news regarding Rashmika's casting announcement was released by the film's producers on Thursday.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie is Salman and Sajid's first collaboration since 2014's "Kick."
The film is presently in pre-production and is expected to be released on Eid 2025. Production will soon begin.
Rashmika, who previously starred with Ranbir Kapoor in the popular film "Animal," will also be seen in "Pushpa 2: The Rule," starring Allu Arjun, where she will play Srivalli again.
