Nilakanta Sharma, Akashdeep Singh, Gurjant Singh, and Jugraj Singh secured goals for India, with Nilakanta and Jugraj scoring from penalty corners, while Akashdeep and Gurjant found the net with field efforts.

The intense game saw both teams scoring two goals each during regulation time. Jarmanpreet Singh (1st minute) and Abhishek (35th minute) found the back of the net for India, while Jose Basterra (3rd minute) and Borja Lacalle (15th minute) scored for Spain.

Facing a tough challenge, India managed to level the scores at 2-2 by halftime after falling behind twice.

In their first game against arch-rivals Pakistan, India secured an exciting 3-3 draw. Captain Uttam Singh mentioned that the team's strong performance in that match boosted their confidence for the rest of the competition.

The match was characterized by intense competition from the beginning. India initially launched an aggressive approach, attempting to unsettle Japan with relentless pressure.

Deepika opened the scoring in the 15th minute while Salima Tete doubled the lead in the 26th minute for India. China's lone goal came from Jiaqi Zhong in the 41st minute.  India quickly established a fluid passing tempo, asserting their dominance over China in the opening quarter.

Amandeep Lakra scored in the 2nd, 7th and 35th minutes while Arun Sahani (12’, 53’) and Poovanna Chandura Boby (52’) scored goals for India while Luke Aldred (29’, 60’) scored a brace for New Zealand.

Suhaimi Irfan Shahmie (13') gave Malaysia the lead but India fought back and eventually won the match. Aditya Lalage equalised the score in the 28th minute, Amandeep Lakra made it 2-1 in the 37th minute and Rohit further consolated their position in the 54th minute as India held the advantage throughout the match.
