India beat Japan 7-1 in Women’s Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier

Mahima Choudhary (7’, 30’), Akshata Dhekale (8’), Mariana Kujur (12’), Jyoti (23’), Monika Dipi Toppo (27’), and Ajmina Kujur (30’) were on target for India. For Japan, Risa Nakasechi (9’) scored the lone goal.

India made an attacking start to their first match with fast-paced set-play, scoring in the third minute through Captain Navjot Kaur (3'). India's lead was doubled a minute later when Akshata Dhekale (4') scored a field goal. Wan Wan's (7') strike gave Malaysia a goal back. Malaysia equalised four minutes before halftime thanks to Aziz Zafirah's (11') flawless conversion of the Challenge Goal.
4 Nations Tournament: Clinical Indian junior women’s hockey team defeats Spain 2-1

Annu (21') and Sakshi Rana (47’) scored a goal each for India. For Spain, Lima Teresa (23’) was on target. The first quarter started with the action unfolding on both ends of the pitch. India got off the blocks with the intent to attack in the first quarter but solid defending by Spain kept the scores level.  
Indian Jr women’s hockey team fightback to secure 3-3 draw against England

Hina Bano (6'), Rutuja Dadaso Pisal (49’) and Mumtaz Khan (53’) scored a goal each for India. Le Huray Martha (4', 19’), and Alexander Beth (9') were on target for England.

This is India's fourth title in the event as they broke the record of three titles (two outright and one shared) with archrivals Pakistan. India won the title in the inaugural year in 2011 and then in 2016. In 2018, they had shared the title with Pakistan in Muscat, Oman as the match was rained off.
