French Open: Rohan Bopanna's campaign ends in semifinals

Bopanna and Middelkoop, seeded 16th, were defeated 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (8-10) by 12th seeds Jean-Julien Roger of the Netherlands and Marcelo Arevalo of El Salvador in two hours and seven minutes at the Roland Garros Stadium. The Indian had the chance of making his first appearance in a men's doubles final at a Grand Slam since the US Open in 2010.

Swiatek's winning streak hit 34 after she dispatched No.20 seed Kasatkina. The 2020 French Open champion Swiatek is now tied for the second-longest winning streak of this century with Serena Williams, who won 34 consecutive matches between Miami Open and Wimbledon in 2013.
Shibahara and Koolhof win mixed doubles title in French Open

Shibahara, ranked No.8 in doubles, won her first major title and became the first Japanese player in 25 years to win the mixed doubles championship in Paris. The California-born 24-year-old was not born when Rika Hiraki and Mahesh Bhupathi took home the title in 1997.
