Delhi reports 11,486 Covid cases, death toll at 45 highest since June 2021

In the last 24 hours, 45 persons succumbed to the virus in Delhi, the highest since June 5 last year when it had reported 68 Covid deaths. The fresh Covid fatalities have pushed the national capital's death toll to 25,586 so far.

The data of over 20,000 Indians are available on the Raid Forums website on the Dark Web, and the hacker claims that they are directly coming from a government CDN (content delivery network) server. The same documents are also available freely on Google Search as "List of Beneficiaries Enrolled for Covid Vaccine" with keywords like RT-PCR results.
Vaccination for under 15 only after scientific data evolves: Govt

"As scientific evidence evolves, we will be expanding the coverage of vaccination to this age group. On Wednesday, India had reported 2,82,970 new Covid cases, a rise of over 18 percent from the previous day's count, and on Tuesday, 2,38,018 new infections were registered. A total of 491 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours on Thursday taking the toll to 4,87,693.
Don't deny Covid compensation claim on technical grounds, SC to states

A bench comprising Justice M.R. Shah and Sanjiv Khanna said that claimants, who have applied for Covid compensation, should be given a chance to rectify their applications. It further added that such claims should be examined by the grievance redressal committee within a week from Wednesday.
Delhi's positivity rate not low enough to relax curbs: Minister

"We will observe the positivity rate for three to four more days as it has started coming down to take any decision on the restrictions," Jain said. About the Covid beds occupancy in the city, Jain said that there is not much occupancy in hospitals and beds are lying vacant. He said that around 13,000 beds are still unoccupied in the city.
