ISRO soon to carry out static test of solid fuel engine for small rocket

The official also said the space agency is planning to fly the small rocket -- Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) -- before the end of this year itself with an Indian earth observation satellite. The SSLV is being designed to have a carrying capacity of about 500kg targeting the small satellite launch market. Samsung leads global curved monitor market in Q2

Samsung had a market share of 32 percent in the April-June period after shipping 1.09 million curved monitors, according to market researcher TrendForce. AOC/Philips, owned by TPV Technology Ltd., was the runner-up with a 12 percent market share with 410,000 units. Micro-Star International Co. and Dell Inc. took the third and fourth spots, respectively, with 10 percent and 8 percent market shares.

Apple should pay Optis $300 mn in patent dispute: US jury

"A jury in Texas awarded $300 million in damages to Optis Wireless and its constellation of companies, to be paid by Apple because the 4G/LTE tech in its iPhones, iPads, and Watches were deemed to have infringed Optis' communications patents," reports The Registrar.
