Apple Unveils Next-Gen iPad Pro Featuring M4 Chip and Advanced AI Functions

According to a statement from the firm, the 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB versions of the 11-inch and 13-inch tablets will be offered in silver and space black finishes.

Using the new M4 chip and artificial intelligence (AI) features, iPad Pro models from Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL)'s tablet lineup were updated on Tuesday.With its revolutionary Ultra Retina XDR display with OLED technology, the iPad Pro is available in two sizes: a 13-inch model and a remarkably portable 11-inch one.

According to a statement from the firm, the 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB versions of the 11-inch and 13-inch tablets will be offered in silver and space black finishes.

Prices for the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular models of the 11-inch iPad Pro start at Rs 99,900 and Rs 119,900, respectively.

The price of the 13-inch iPad Pro, according to the firm, is Rs 129,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 149,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.

"The new iPad Pro is unlike any other device thanks to its revolutionary Ultra Retina XDR display, superior M4 performance, amazing AI capabilities, and compatibility with the all-new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard," stated John Ternus, senior vice president of hardware engineering at Apple.

Orders for the new iPad Pro, Apple Pencil Pro, and Magic Keyboard can be placed now, and they will be available in shops on May 15.

The Ultra Retina XDR display's accuracy, colour, and brightness are made possible by the M4 chip's new display engine.

With next-generation machine learning (ML) accelerators, the new CPU offers up to four performance cores and now six efficiency cores, providing up to 1.5x faster CPU performance compared to the M2 processor.

“Apple Pencil Pro brings powerful new interactions that take the pencil experience even further, and a new thinner, lighter Magic Keyboard is packed with incredible features,” the company highlighted.

Moreover, the new iPad Pro boasts 100 percent recycled aluminum enclosures.

Apple also mentioned enhancements to user experience with iPadOS 17, allowing users to personalize the Lock Screen according to their preferences.
