Videos show England players scuffing the ball, Twitter erupts over alleged ball-tampering

Several pictures of England players scuffing the ball with their spikes on the fourth day of Lord's Test have surfaced. The alleged incident seems to have happened during the second session on the fourth day as Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane held the Indian innings together.Videos and photos showed the players rolling the ball and one of them stamping on it with his spikes.

Cheteshwar Pujara was batting on 29 runs with Ajinkya Rahane keeping him company with 24 as they repaired the Indian innings cautiously as the innings was tottering at 56/3 at lunch. Pujara has faced 148 deliveries for his 29 while Rahane had negotiated 74. Earlier, India scored 56 runs in the first session on the fourth day but lost three key wickets including skipper Virat Kohli, in the process.
