Kumar, the 35-year-old from Katra near Jammu, defeated Hong Kong's Ka Chuen Ngai while Swami went down to Matt Stutzman of the United States in the 1/16 Elimination round. Kumar, who was placed third after the 72-arrow ranking round, continued with his superb run by outclassing Chunen Ka Ngai of Hong Kong 144-131 in the 1/16 Elimination Round at the Yumenoshima Final Field on Saturday.
Paralympic TT: Nothing is impossible if you try hard, says Bhavina after reaching final

And today I did it," Bhavina said on Saturday after beating China's Zhang Miao in the semifinals of the women's singles Class 4 section at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Bhavina defeated Miao, the world No. 3 and 2016 Rio Paralympic Games silver medallist 3-2 (7-11, 11-7, 11-4, 9-11, 11-8) in a 34-minute encounter to reach the final and assure India its first medal in table tennis at the Paralympic Games.

A banner, attached to a plane, flew in the sky above the ground on Friday with a message, "Sack the ECB, save Test cricket". It is yet unclear on what the message implied but it could be from someone upset at England cricket team's lack of preparation for the Test series where India are giving them a run for their money.
Pujara leads India's resistance

Opener Rohit Sharma scored 61 and added 82 for the second wicket with Pujara before he was out LBW. Skipper Kohli then added unbeaten 99 for the third wicket with the India No. 3 as India started to script a comeback. Earlier, England could add only nine to their overnight score and ended with 432. Though they are still 139 runs behind, their hopes of making England bat again look realistic now.
Ronaldo returns to Manchester United

"Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical," said the club in a statement. In his first spell for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games. Ronaldo had moved to Real Madrid before shifting to Juventus.

Rahul (8) and Rohit Sharma (25 not out) were extremely cautious during the start. Sharma defended well and was in control of boundaries. James Anderson threatened with his outswingers, but didn't get a wicket. Ollie Robinson was troublesome with his in-swingers. Bhavina, the 34-year-old from Ahmedabad, stormed into the semifinals by upsetting Rio 2016 gold-medallist Borislava Peric Rankovic of Serbia in straight games 3-0 (11-5,11-6, 11-7) in just 19 minutes. Bhavina is the first Indian woman table tennis player to reach the semi-finals in Paralympic Games. In the semifinals, she will meet China's Zhang Miao on Saturday.
Asian Junior Boxing: Vishu Rathee, two others enter finals

Playing in the 48kg semi-final, Vishu started the proceedings for India in an aggressive style against Mongolia's Otgonbat Yesunkhuslen as she landed some heavy blows and quickly took the charge of the bout. Her attack was so strong that the referee had to stop the contest in the first round itself and declare the Indian as the winner.
