Gaikwad scored an unbeaten 101 in 60 balls to take Chennai to 189/4 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Though Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube stole his thunder with half-centuries to lead Rajasthan to a seven-wicket win, many couldn't take their eyes off from how Gaikwad paced his innings. After completing his half-century in 43 balls, Gaikwad blasted 51 runs off next 17 balls.
Two more gold medals for India at Jr Shooting World Championship

Manu and Sarabjot led an India 1-2 in air pistol mixed team competition where they fought off the challenge of the second Indian pair of Shikha Narwal and Naveen 16-12 in the gold-medal match. in the qualification round featuring eight teams, both the Indian pairs finished 1-2 as well with Manu and Sarabjot shooting 386, while Shikha and Naveen were a point behind with 385.

During the official visit of AIBA president Umar Kremlev to Istanbul, an agreement was signed between AIBA and the Turkish Boxing Federation. "I am glad to announce that the AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships will be held here in Istanbul. Turkey is a big boxing country and has a rich history." Kremlev said in a statement.

Yashasvi Jaiswal came out all guns blazing, smashing boundaries against every bowler. Josh Hazlewood came under severe thrashing from the youngster, taken for seven boundaries, including the last one.

Pooja and veteran fast bowler Jhulan Goswami were the stars for India with the ball on Saturday as the home team were reduced to 143/4 in 60 overs at stumps on the third day, still needing 85 runs to avoid follow-on as they chase India wom'n's first innings score of 377/8 declared. However, enforcing a follow-on remains a tall order for India, with Australia trailing them by just 234 runs.
