PM Modi categorically asserted that India would never be deterred by "nuclear blackmail" while pursuing the goal of eradicating terrorism abroad. He restated a three-pronged approach of India's anti-terror policy encompassing seeking out and neutralizing terror threats on the world's map, prosecuting state-sponsored terror activists on par with their masterminds, and possessing the choice of avenging a terror strike severely.

The speech was welcomed by BJP leadership, who cherished the clarity of the Prime Minister in articulating India's priorities. BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal emphasized that PM Modi had clearly outlined India's reaction to any act of provocation. He also emphasized the effectiveness of weapons manufactured at home, with pride in the precision of India's missile strikes.
